Data engineering
Warehouse setup, pipelines, and dbt models. The people who move marketing, CRM, and revenue data into one place and keep the joins honest.
About MetricMaven
MetricMaven is an experts-only marketing measurement firm. Expert practitioners across data engineering, tracking, and report development and design do the work directly, and Maven, the technology we built, keeps the numbers accurate between engagements.
The firm
Most measurement engagements are sold by a senior person and delivered by whoever is available. MetricMaven works the other way. Every engagement is led by the founder and staffed with experts who have solved that particular kind of measurement problem before: engineers for the warehouse and models, tracking specialists for tags, consent, and server-side events, and report developers and designers for the dashboards people actually read.
The people who scope the engagement are the people who build it, validate it, and explain it.
We work with healthcare businesses, SaaS teams, and agencies. From a focused tracking repair to a data platform rebuild, we diagnose the problem, implement the fix, and maintain the measurement as your business changes.
See selected workWho does the work
Measurement breaks at the seams between systems, so the team is organized around the seams. Each specialty is staffed by experts who have run this work at scale, brought in as the engagement needs them.
Warehouse setup, pipelines, and dbt models. The people who move marketing, CRM, and revenue data into one place and keep the joins honest.
Tag management, server-side events, consent, and offline conversions. The people who make sure the event that fires is the event you meant.
Dashboards, scheduled reporting, and the layout decisions that make a number readable. The people who turn a model into something a team opens every week.
The technology
Maven is the measurement technology we built for our own engagements. It watches for missing events and anomalies, moves marketing data into your warehouse with support, uploads approved offline conversions, and applies reviewed tag repairs.
That is how a team of experts stays on the details without a bench of people watching dashboards, and how your reporting stays accurate between reviews. It also brings your data into the AI tools your team already uses, so everyone works from the same metrics.
Meet MavenThe founder

Jamie founded MetricMaven after eight years building analytics infrastructure inside high-growth companies and for marketing agencies.
Built the attribution models and reporting systems a high-growth direct-to-consumer brand ran its marketing on.
Designed the cross-retailer eCommerce performance dashboard covering over $1B in annual revenue, and automated MAP compliance reporting that protected retailer margin.
Managed Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics across 800+ sites. Built forecasting-based monitoring that caught tracking breaks before anyone reported them, and the first reporting for the MyHealthOne patient app.
Set up BigQuery and built the first SQL reporting on it: an enterprise performance dashboard across programs, ecommerce, and marketplaces, plus pace-to-goal reports for each line of business.
Working with MetricMaven
An experts-only firm only works if the structure is honest about what it is. Experts join when the engagement needs them, the founder stays on the work throughout, and Maven carries the monitoring that would otherwise need a bench.
Engagements are staffed with experts who have done that specific kind of work before. Nobody learns the job on your data.
Your warehouse, models, reporting workspace, and documentation are yours. We do not build on platforms you cannot leave.
We do marketing measurement. We do not do CRM implementation, web development, or general consulting, and we say so when a request sits outside that.
Operating principles
These principles shape how MetricMaven scopes work, makes changes, and shares context with the people who own the outcome.
A clean event is only useful when it answers a question someone needs to act on. We begin with the decision, then define the evidence around it.
Spend, lead, customer, and revenue can mean different things in different systems. Shared definitions make the reporting easier to explain and defend.
Changes should have an owner, a reason, and a validation path. The people responsible for the systems should be able to understand what moved.
Documentation, training, and handover are part of the work. Your organization should retain the architecture and the context to keep using it well.
